Yar Tor

Yar Tor was commissioned in memory of Susan Yealland. This haunting piece takes its name from the beautiful rock formation in Dartmoor National Park, with the music reflecting the undulating landscape in the rising and falling of the cello line. This will make a wonderful addition to any cello recital, giving a few minutes of reflection and contemplation within which to relish the sonorous solo cello.
